The Board of Trustees <br />to the provisions of the "Street <br />March 6th, 1889, <br />follows: <br /> <br /> of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant <br /> <br />Opening Act of 1889" approved <br />and amendments thereto, do resolve and declare as <br /> <br />PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE <br /> <br />That the public interest and convenience re- <br /> <br /> SECTION I. <br /> <br /> quires, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the <br /> City of Santa Ana, California, to order the following improvement <br /> in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That 'a certain alley in said City of Santa Ana be vacate~ <br /> and abandone8 as follows: <br /> <br /> That certain 14 foot alley as shown through Block "A" of <br />Bailey Addition, as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, <br />Book 21, page l~, records of Los Angeles County, Califc~nia. <br /> <br /> All of which is more clearly shown by a map of said pro- <br />posed abandonment, approved and adopted by the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa &ua, by Resolution No. 1617 on said 18th day of <br />January, 1926. <br /> <br /> LAND AND PROPERTY AFFECTED <br /> <br /> SECTION II. That the said Board of Trustees does further <br />declare that the lots, land, or premises affected by the vacation <br />of the hereinbefore described alley are those pieces or parcels of <br />real property described as follows: Lots I to 13 inclusive of Bloc <br />"A" of Bailey Addition, as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous <br />Msps~ Book 21, page l~, Records of Los ~ngeles County, California. <br /> <br /> TINE AND PLACE OF HEARING <br /> <br /> SECTION III. Notice is hereby given that on Monday, the <br />15th day of February, 1926, at 7:30 o'clock P.m. in the Council Cha~ <br />bet of the City Hall of said C~ty of Santa Ana, any and all persons <br />who shall have filed written protests with the Clerk of the City of <br />Santa &ua, on or before the 4th day of February, 1926, as required <br />by law, may appear before the said Board of Trustees and show caus~ <br />why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accord- <br />ance with this Resolution. <br /> <br /> PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF PUBLIC WO~RK <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. The Street Superintendent shall cause Notic~ <br />to be published for a period of ten days in the Santa ~na Daily <br />Evening Register, a newspaper published and circulated an~ of gen- <br />eral circulation in the City of Santa, containing a statement of <br />facts of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, its date, an8 <br />briefly the i~provement proposed, and refer to this Resolution of <br />Intention for ~urther particulars. <br /> <br /> POSTING OF NOTICES OF PUBLIC ~ORK <br /> <br /> SECTION V. The Street Superintendent shall also, after <br />the adoption of this Resolution of Intention, cause to be conspicu- <br />ously posted along the~lines of said contemplated imDroveme~t, at <br />not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, but not <br /> <br /> <br />
