<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK

<br /> '~REAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Ssnts Ana,
<br />on the 4th day of January, 1926, passed its Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 161i, to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br />improvement to be made in, on and along South Patton Street, West
<br />Walnut Street, West Pine Street, ~'~est Chestnut Street, East and West
<br />Camile Street, East and West Bishop Street, Richland Street, Highl,n
<br />Street, East and West Cubbon Street in said City, which Resolution
<br />of Intention No. 1611 was duly and legally published twice in the
<br />Santa ~na Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and
<br />circulated in the City of Santa kaa, all as required by law, as ap-
<br />pears from the affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal clerk o~ the
<br />printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit
<br />was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the
<br />8th day of January, 1926, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution
<br />of Intention No. 1611, the Street Superintendent of the City of Sant
<br />Ana conspicuously posted along the llne of the contemplated work and
<br />improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance
<br />apart, and 294 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of
<br />Intentien, headed NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in manner, form snd substsn
<br />as provided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district,
<br />also consDicuously posted copies of said Notice along all of the ope
<br />streets and alleys within such district, not more than three hundred
<br />(300) feet in distance apart, on each street, and did post on each
<br />street at least 3 notices, and on said streets 294 notices; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa
<br />Ana commenced, to post said notice on the 14th day of January, 1926,
<br />and fully cmmpleted the posting thereof on the 15th day of January,
<br />1926, more than ten days before the day set for hearing protests or
<br />objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears by
<br />
