RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT No. 1640. WHEREAS, the Beard of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, on the 1st day of March, 1926, passed its Resolution of Intention Ne. 1633 to order the hereinafter described improvement te be made and public work te be done in the City of Santa Ara; and WHEREAS, after the' passage and adoption ef said Resolution of Intention No. 1633, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha cQnspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated work and im- provement, at not mQre than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart and 9 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution, headed, NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in manner, fo~m and substance, as pro- vided by law and said Street Superintendent alse caused a notice simi- lar in substance to be published for a period of ten (10) days in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register~ ~ daily newspaper published and cir- culated in the City of Santa Ana, and designated fo~ that purpose, by the Board of Trustees of the said City, all as more fully' appears by the affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal clark of the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa ~a, on the 16th day of March, 1926, and i~ now on file therein; and WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the city of Santa Ara caused the notice hereinbefore referred to, te he published in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register for a period of ten days the first publica$ien appearing in said newspaper ~n the 5th day of March, 1926; WHEREAS, more than ten days has now expired since the expira- tion of the time of the publication of said notice, which is the time within which objections to sa~ work and improvement might be made, and no objections having been made in writing, and no person appeari~ before the Board $o object orally to s aid improvement, and this being the first meeting of the Board of Trustees, after the expiration of the time when protests m~ght be~recelved and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ara having now acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement, it is hereby: RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the~publlc interest and convenience requires the work hereinafter described and the said Board hereby or- ders the following work done and improvement made in,the City of Santa &ua as follows: That that certain alley in the City of Santa Ara be ?acated and abandoned as follows: That certain fourteen (14) foot alley as shown through Block "A" of Bailey Addition, a~ per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Records Book 21, page 12, Records of Los Angeles County, California, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned.
