Van Beck <br /> Planning <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 59-116 GRANTING VARIANCE UPON <br />DIFFERENT COND~T'IONS 'THAN THOSE RECOMMENDED BY <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, heretofore the Planning Commission held a hearing <br />after due notice on Variance Application No. 1105 and recommended <br />that the same be approved upon certain conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council after study, determined that said <br />Variance should be granted but that the conditions imposed upon the <br />granting thereof should be modified as hereinbelow set out. <br /> <br /> NOW, THE~EF0~, BE IT RESOLVED: That a Variance is hereby <br />granted on Application No. ll05 to per, it the use of the property <br />k~own and numbered as ~l~t Fifth Street, Santa Aha, herein- <br />below described to be used as a salvage yard and auto wrecking <br />yard and for retail sales of new and used auto parts upon the fol- <br />lowing conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the ex~sting shed and barn-like building be removed. <br />2. That an 8 foot block wall be constructed across the <br />entire front of the property but that no portion of said wall or <br />any new structures or signs shall be placed closer than 72 feet <br />from the surveyed center line of Fifth Street and that said block <br />wall shall extend 25 feet Southerly along but inside of the Wester- <br />ly property line adjacent to but not touching the Westerly boundary <br />line'of said property so that said Southerly extention shall begin <br />at a point 72 feet from said center line of Fifth Street and extend <br />to a point 97 feet South of said center line of Fifth Street. That <br />an 8 foot corrugated iron fence shall be erected and maintained con- <br />tinuously in a state of good repair without exposed, rusting, de- <br />formation or externally protruding edges to inclose the entire re- <br />maining boundary line of said property but that no portion of said <br />fence shall be constructed within one foot of said boundary line. <br /> <br /> 3- That the owner of said property dedicate to the City, <br />the Northerly 42 feet of said property measured Southerly and aZ <br /> <br /> <br />
