RESOLUTION OF AWARD <br /> No. 1769 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana <br /> did in open session at a regular meeting thereof, on the 20th day of <br /> June, 1927, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals <br /> or bids for doing the following work, under Resolution of Intention <br /> No. 1788, in the Cdty of Santa Ana, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That Greenleaf Street from the North edge of the concrete <br />pavement in place on Seventeenth Street to the North curb line of <br />Santa Clara Avenue be graded and paved with Portland Cement Concrete <br />Pavement from curb line to curb line and at street ~ntersections and <br />driveway locations back to the extended property lines as shown on <br />the plans; the excavation for and construction of Cement Concrete <br />Curbs upon and along the above described street where curbs do not <br />now exist or where replacements are to be made, as shown on the <br />plans; the excavation for and construction of Cement Concrete Side- <br />walks upon and along the able described street at the locations <br />shown on the plans; the construction of House Connecting Sewers and <br />Manholes at the locations and grades and of such dimensions as are <br />shown on the plans, together with such other incidental work or <br />improvement as set forth in the plans and specifications. <br /> <br /> RESOLVED: That the Board of Trustees hereby rejects all <br />of said proposals or bids except the next herein mentioned, and <br />hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to <br />the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: T. W. OGLESBY, at the price <br />named in his bid as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Item No. 1. The grading to a subgrade and the laying <br />thereon of a five (8) inch Portland Cement Concrete P~vement, <br />complete with the furnishing.of all necessary equipment, labor and <br />material for the sum of Eighteen and one-fourth cents ($0.18~$ per <br />square foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 2. The excavation for and the constructim of <br />Cement Concrete Curbs, complete with the furnishing of all necessary <br />equipment, labor and material for the sum of Fifty cents ($0.80) <br />per linear foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 3. The excavation for and the cch struction of <br />Cement Concrete Sidewalks, having a total thickness of three and <br />one-half (3-1/2) inches, complete with the furnishing of all <br />necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of Fifteen cents <br />($0.18) per square foot. <br /> <br /> Item No. 4. The excavation for and the constructic~ of <br /> <br />Cement <br /> <br />inches, <br /> <br />labor and material for the sum of Seventeen cents <br />~oot. <br /> <br />Concrete Sidewalks, having a total thickness of five (8) <br /> <br /> complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, <br /> <br /> ($0.17) per square <br /> <br /> <br />
