RESOLUTION ORDEHING IMPHOVEMENT <br /> <br /> No. 1720 <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, The Board of Trustees of the City of <br /> Santa &ua, on the 6th day of December, 1926, passed its <br /> Resolution of ~Intention No. 1709, to order the hereinafter <br /> described improvement to be made .and public work to be done <br /> in the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br /> <br />· R~esolution of Intention No. 1709, the Street Superintendent <br /> of the City of Santa Ara conspicuously posted along the line <br /> of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than <br /> three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 6 in all, <br /> notices ~f the passage of said Resolution, headed, <br /> <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC wORK, in manner, form and <br /> substance, as provided 'by law and said Street Superintendent <br /> also caused a notice similar in substance to be published <br /> for a period of ten (10) days in the Santa Ana Daily Evening <br /> Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the <br /> City of Santa Ara, and designated for that purpose by the <br /> Board of Trustees of the said City, all as more fuily appear <br /> by the affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal clerk of the <br /> printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which <br /> affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the~City <br /> of Santa Ana, on the 6th day of January, 1927, and is now <br /> on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City <br /> of Santa Ana caused the notice hereinbefore referred to, to <br /> be published in the Santa Ara Daily ~vening Register for a <br /> period of ten days, the first publication appearing in said <br /> newspaper on the 27th day of December, 1926; and <br /> <br /> ~HEHEAS, more than ten days has now expired since <br /> the expiration of the time of the publication of said <br /> notice, which is the time w~thln which objections to said <br /> work and improvement might be made, and no objection having <br /> been made in writing, and no person appearing before the <br /> Board to object orally to said in~provement, and this being <br /> the first meeting of the Board of Trustees after the <br /> expiration of the time when protests might be received and <br /> the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, having now <br /> acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement, <br /> it is hereby: <br /> <br /> Resolved and Ordered, that the public interest <br /> and convenience requires the work hereinafter described and <br /> the Board hereby orders the work done and improvement to be <br /> made in the City of Santa Ana, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
