RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1801 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF.~ANTA AMA, QALIFORNIA, BECLARINGTHEIR INTENT- ION TO OI~SH ~1t~ IHST/~LLATION AND ~ONSTRUOTION OF AN ORNAmENtAL ~IOHTING SYSTEM ON PORTION8 OF NORTH MAIN ~ STREET, THIED STREET AND FOURTH STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WOKK TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR O~NARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT, AND TO BE ASSEESED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH: The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of. the Improvement Act of 1911, an the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and Amendments to said acts do.peso lye as follows: SECTION 1e That the public interest and convenienc requires~ and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the construct- ion of the following described work and improvement in said city, to-wit: The furnishing, installation and constx-uction of an ornamental lighting system on Main Street from the north line of First Street to the south line of Sixth Street; the south ten feet of Third Street ~rom a llne ten feet west of and parallel to the west line of Main Street to a line ninety feet east of and parallel to the east llne of Main Streets and Fourth Street from the east line of Main Street to a line ten feet east of and parallel thereto; together with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system, including the installation of thirty double light standards of the type and kind known'as King Ornamental Standard design, drawing No. K-0171 complet.e, including concrete foundations, anchor bolts, potheads, wiring, lamps, .globes, canopies, conduits, cables, and all necessary items to complete the lighting system, including the making of necessary connections to existing systems, and the connections between standards, and the repairing of all curbs,, side walks, culverts, pavements, or other improvements, cut or damaged during the constructio£ together with.such other work and improvement as shown on th, plans and specifications which shall be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvement. That all of the existing !~ght standards, glass-ware, cables etc. which are a par~ of the old system on Main Street between Second Street and Sixth Street and shown on the plans to be removed shall become the property of the Contractcm.
