RESOLUTION OVERRUAING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO ASSESS~NT, AP.PROVING ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING THE STREET SUPERIWi~ENDENT TO ATTACH WARRANT AND RECORD. ?~'HEREAS, the Board of Trustees, now known as the City Council,. of the City of Santa Ana, did on the 21st day of March, 1927, pass Resolution of Intenti~n No. 1740, for the improvement of portions of Third Street, Fourth Street and North Sycamore Street; and whereas, on the 6th day of August, 1927, the Superintendent of St'~ets of said City filed an assessment to cover the sum due for t~ work performed~ and specified in the contract made under proceedings for ~he said improvement, which assessment diagram was appr~ed by the Board cf Trustees, now known as the City Council~ of said C~t~>~n the ~.';th day of June, 1927. . ABd, WHEREAS~ the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha has E: as required by law~ in which notice August 29th~ 192'~ at ~ h°lxr of ?:~0 o' clock P.N. was fixed ~s the time, and the Co~"::$~ ~hamb®r of the City Hall of said City as the place.where an and m~l PerSOns interested in the said wc~k might be heaPd, and whex, eas, no person has filed with the Cit~ Council a written object ion ~ said assessment as required by law; and whereas, at the time ee~or hearing pretests or objections the City Council of said City p~oeeeded to hear the same, and all of said prote~ts or object- ions to said assessment or the work done having been heard, it is hereby RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, that all of the said protests or ob3ecttons against said assessment or the work done under said proceedings be, and the same are hereby overruled and denied and the assessment be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby directed to attach to said assessment s warrant in the form and manner requix-ed by law~ and shall reeo~d the same in the office of s&td Superintendent of Streets. I hereby certify that the foregoing Eesolutlon was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, at an adjourned regular meeting of said City Council held on the 29th day of August, 19~7, by the following vote: AYES: Trustees: NOES~ TRUSTEES: None ABSENT, TRUSTE~S.
