which Resolution of Intention No. 1791 was duly and legally published <br />in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published <br />and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as required by law, as <br />appears from the affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal clerk of the <br />printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit <br />was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the <br />8th day of August, 1927; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution <br />of Intention No. lV91 the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa <br />Aha conspicuously posted along the llne of the contemplated wc~k and <br />tmprove~ent, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance <br />apart, and 281 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of <br />Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPR0~J&ENT, in the manner, form and <br />substance as r~uired by law, and the work being chargeable upon a <br />district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all <br />of the o~en st~eete within such district at not more than three <br />hundred (300)feet. in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit ot <br />C. L, Jenken,, sa~d Street Superintendent, who personally posted said <br />no,ieee of improvement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana <br />commenced to post said notices on the 13th day of August, 1927, and <br />fullI~ completed the posting thereof on the 13th day of August, 1927, <br />more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing prote~ts or <br />objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from <br />the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the~City of <br />Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 1Sth <br />day of August, 1927, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha Sas duly <br />and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour o! <br />?:30 otcloek P. M. on Monday, the 29th day of August, 1927, being the <br />time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and notice <br />of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any ob~ect- <br />ions to the proposed work or i~oprovement may appear before the City <br />Council, formerly the Board of Trustees and show cause why said <br />proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1791; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been <br />disposed of, overruled and denied, in time, manner and form as require <br />by law, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana having acquired <br />jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and imprcvement ~ade; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana that the public interest and convenience requires the w~rk <br />done and improvement made particularly set forth and described in <br />ResolUtion of Intention No. 1791, which is dated the 2~th day of July <br />1~2~ 'eni'fi!e~tn 'the office of the Clerk of said City and hereby <br /> <br /> <br />
