RESOLUTION ORDERING ~¥0RK <br /> NO. 1V23 <br /> <br /> V~EREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Santa Ana, on the loth day of January, 1927, passed its <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1Vl? to order the hereinafter <br />described work to be done and improvement to be made in, on <br />and along a portion of South Van Ness Avenue in said City, <br />which Reso~utlon of Intention No. 1717 was duly and legally <br />published twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a <br />daily newspaper, published and circulated in the City of <br />Santa Ara, all as required by law, as appears from the <br />affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, Principal Clerk of the printer <br />and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit <br />was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa <br />Ana, on the 14th day of January, 1927; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, After the passage and adoption of said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1717, the Street Superintendent <br />of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the <br />line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more <br />than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and lq <br />in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intent- <br />ion, headed NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and <br />substance as re~ulred by law, and the work being chargeable <br />upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said <br />notice along all of the open streets within such district, <br />at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart <br />as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street <br />Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of <br />Improvement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Ana commenced to post said notices on the 22nd day of <br />January, 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on <br />the 22nd day of January, 1927, more than ten (10) days befo~ <br />the date set for heart~ p~otests or objections to the <br />proposed work and improvement, all as appears by the <br />affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the Cit <br /> <br />of Santa Aha, filed in the <br />on the 24th day of January, <br />and <br /> <br />office of the Clerk of said Cit <br />1927, and now on file therein; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chambe~ <br />thereof at the hour of ?:30 o'clock P.
