RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 171V <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR <br />INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE <br />IMPROVING OF A PORTION OF SOUTH VAN NESS <br />AVENUE IN SAID CITY; DECLARING THE SAID <br />OR IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR <br />ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT.; DECLARING THE DISTRICT <br />TO BE BENEFITED THEREBY AND TO BE ASSE~E~ TO <br />PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING <br />THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID <br />COSTS AND EXPENSES: AND FIXING THE TIME AND <br />PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR <br />IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT <br />TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, <br />pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, <br />and the Improvement Bond Act of 19la, and amendments to <br />said acts do resolve as foll~ww: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the public interest and <br />convenience require, and it is the intention of the Board <br />of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, California, to order <br />the construction of the following described work and <br />improvement in said city, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That South Van Ness Avenue in said City, from <br />the south line of West Edinger Street to the south line <br />of Tract No. 289 be graded and paved with Portland Cement <br />Concrete Pavement, from curb line to curb line, and where <br />cross-streets intersect said portion of said street; the <br />grading and paving shall extend~beyond the curb lines and <br />across the sidewalk reservations to the extended property <br />lines of the said street; and the grading and paving of <br />all driveways shown on the plans to be paved for their <br />entire width and from the street face of the curb to the <br />street edge of the sidewalk; the excavation for and con- <br />struction of Cement Concrete Curbs upon and along the abov <br />described street, where curbs do not now exist and where <br />replacements are to be made as shown on the plans; the <br />excavation for and construction of Cement Concrete Side- <br />walks upon and along the above described street, where <br />sidewalks do not now exist, and where replacements are to <br />be made as shown on th,,~ plans; the excavation of trenches <br />and the furnishing and laying therein of a Salt Glazed <br />Vitrified Clay Sewer Pipe, consisting of mains and <br />laterals of such diameters, laid to such depths and at <br />such locations as shown on the plans; the excavation for <br />and the construction of Concrete Sewer Manholes at. <br />locations and as shown on the plans; the excavation for <br />and construction of a Concrete Sewer Flush.
