306 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> NO. 1738 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of. <br />Santa Ana on the 28th day of February, 1927 passed its <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1729 to order the hereinafter <br />described work to be done and improvement to be made, in on <br />and along a portion of South Main Street in said City, which <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1729 was duly and regularly <br />published twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a <br />daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of <br />Santa Aha, all as required by law, as appears from the <br />affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal clerk of the printers <br />and publishers of ssld daily newspaper, and which affidavit <br />was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana <br />on the 5th day of March, 1927; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and ~doption of said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1729 the Street Superintendent of <br />the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line of <br />the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 116 in all, notices <br />of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed,NOTICE <br />OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form, and substance as <br />required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district <br />also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of <br />the open streets within such District, at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the <br />affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who <br />personally posted said notices of improvement; and <br /> <br /> V~EREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Aha commenced to post said notices on the 9th day of <br />March, 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the <br />9th day of March, 1927, more than ten (10) days before the <br />date set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed <br />work and improvement, all as appears by the affidavit of <br /> <br />C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, <br />filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City, on the 10th da~ <br />of March, 1927, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> W/tEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereo~ <br />at th~ hour Of 7:30 o'clock P. M. on Monday, the 21st day <br />of March, 1927, being the time, hour and place named in the <br />Resolution of Intention, and Notice of Improvement, when and <br />where any and all persons having any objection to the pro- <br />posed work and improvement might appear before the Board of <br /> <br /> <br />
