RESOLUTION NO. 1746 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE <br />CLOSING UP OF A CERTAIN ALLEY EXTENDING OVER THE <br />SOUTH SIX FEET OF LOT TV;O, AS PER CORRECTED NAP OF <br />SMITH AND BISHOP'S ADDITION TO SANTA ANA, DECLARING <br />IT TO BE FOR THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE; AND <br />FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO <br />SAID PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, California <br /> pursuant to the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the <br /> State of California, known as "Street Opening Act of 1889", <br /> approved ~arch 6, 1889, and amendments thereto, do resolve and <br /> declare as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenience <br /> requires the closing up of a certain alley as hereinafter described <br /> in the City of Santa Ana, and it is the intention of the Board of <br /> Trustees of the City of &anta Ana, to order the following alley <br /> in said City to be closed up and abandoned, to-wit: <br /> <br /> A certain six (6) foot alley running Easterly and <br /> ~Jesterly over the South six (6) feet of Lot Two (2), as per .correcte <br /> map of Smith and Bishop's Addition to Santa Ana, as per map thereof <br /> recorded in Book l, page 100 of Miscellaneous Record Naps, Records <br /> of Orange County, California. All of which is more clearly shown <br /> on a certain map approved and adopted by the Board of Trustees of <br /> the City of Santa Ana for the said abandonment, by Resolution No. <br /> 1748, on the 4th day of April, 19~7. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the said Board of Trustees of the City <br /> of Santa Ana does further declare that the lot, land or premises <br /> effected by the closing up and abandonment of the hereinbefore <br /> described alley and benefited by said improvement is that parcel <br /> of real property described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot Two (2) as per corrected map of Smith and Bishop's <br />Addition to Santa Ana, as per map thereof recorded in Book 1, paEe <br />100 of Miscellaneous Mccord Maps, Records of Orange County, <br />California. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Notice is hereby given that on Monday, the <br />~nd day of May, 19~7, at 7:30 o'clock P.~., in the Council Chamber <br />of the City Hall of said City of Santa Ana, any and all persons <br />who shall have filed written protests with the Clerk of the City of <br />Santa Aha, on or before the 18th day of April, 1927, as required by <br />law, may appear before the said Board of Trustees and show cause why <br />said alley should not be closed up and abandoned in accordance with <br />this Resolution. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That the proceedings for the closing up of <br />the aforesaid alley shall be had and taken under and in accordance <br />with the act of the Legislature of the State of California, designat~ <br /> <br /> <br />
