~substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the open streets within such district at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of i~provement; and ~IEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana commenced to post said notices on the 29th day of March, 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 29th day of ~arch, 1927, more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearin protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears by the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, Street Superintend- ent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 30th day of March, 1927, and now on file therein; and ~EREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana was duly in adjourned regular session at the Eouncil Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clockP. M. on the 12th day of April, 1927, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why said proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 1740; and ~GtEREAS, all protests or objections presented, having been disposed of, overruled and denied in time, manner snd form as required by law, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana. having acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and improvement made$ IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Bo~.rd of Trustees of the City of Santa An~ that the public interest and convenience requires the work ~ne and i~provement made particularly set forth and des- cribed in Resolution of Intention No. 1740, which is dated the 21st day of March, 192V, on file in the Office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred to and made a part hereof, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha hereby orders the work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, as particularly set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 1740 as aforesaid. That Resolution of the expens~ of said work and improvement is by said Intention made chargeable upon a district, which said district is described in and by the said Resolution of Intent- ion, and is shown by a plat or map thereof on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
