~substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon <br /> a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along <br /> all of the open streets within such district at not more than <br /> three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the <br /> affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who <br /> personally posted said notices of i~provement; and <br /> <br /> ~IEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br /> <br /> Santa Ana commenced to post said notices on the 29th day of March, <br /> 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 29th day of <br /> ~arch, 1927, more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearin <br /> protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all <br /> as appears by the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, Street Superintend- <br /> ent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the office of the Clerk of <br /> said City on the 30th day of March, 1927, and now on file therein; <br /> and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana <br /> was duly in adjourned regular session at the Eouncil Chamber <br /> thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clockP. M. on the 12th day of <br /> <br /> April, 1927, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution <br /> of Intention and Notice of Improvement when and where any and all <br /> persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvement <br /> might appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why said <br /> proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with said <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 1740; and <br /> <br /> ~GtEREAS, all protests or objections presented, having <br /> been disposed of, overruled and denied in time, manner snd form as <br /> required by law, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> having acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and <br /> improvement made$ <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Bo~.rd of Trustees of the <br /> City of Santa An~ that the public interest and convenience requires <br /> the work ~ne and i~provement made particularly set forth and des- <br /> cribed in Resolution of Intention No. 1740, which is dated the 21st <br /> day of March, 192V, on file in the Office of the Clerk of said City <br /> and hereby referred to and made a part hereof, and the Board of <br /> Trustees of the City of Santa Aha hereby orders the work to be <br /> done and improvement to be made in said city, as particularly set <br /> forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 1740 as <br /> <br />aforesaid. <br /> <br /> That <br />Resolution of <br /> <br /> the expens~ of said work and improvement is by said <br />Intention made chargeable upon a district, which <br />said district is described in and by the said Resolution of Intent- <br />ion, and is shown by a plat or map thereof on file in the Office <br />of the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> <br />
