RESOLUTION DECLARE~G RESULT OF ELECTION

<br /> %¥HEREAS, a general municipal election was held and
<br />conducted in the City of Santa Ana on Monday, the llth day of
<br />April, 1927, as required by law,
<br />
<br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was
<br />~ly and legally given, that voting precincts were properly
<br />established, that election officers were appointed and election
<br />supplies furnished, and that in all respects said election w~s held
<br />and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed,
<br />and the returns thereof, made and declared in time, form and manner
<br />as required by the general laws of the state governing elections
<br />in cities of the fifth and sixth class.

<br /> AND WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of said City of Santa
<br />Aha met at the council chamber of the Board on Monday, the 18th
<br />day of April, 1927 to canvass the returns of said election and
<br />install the newly elected officers, as a result of which the Board
<br />finds that the number of votes cast, the names of the persons, vote~
<br />for, and other matters required by law, to be as hereinafter
<br />stated, now.therefore,
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
<br />
<br /> That said regular municipal election was held and con-
<br />ducted in the City of Santa Ana on Monday, the llth day of April,
<br />1927 in time, form and manner as required by law;
<br />
<br /> That there were nineteen (19) voting precincts establish,
<br />for the purpose of holding said election, consisting of a
<br />consolidation of the regular election precincts for holding general
<br />state and county elections as follows:
<br />
<br /> Consolidated voting Precinct No. l, comprising state and
<br />county precincts Nos. 8, 9, l0 and ll, and the polling place
<br />thereof shall be at the Lincoln School Building, situated ~h French
<br />Street between Fourteenth and Fifteenth Streets; consolidated
<br />voting precinct No. 2, comprising state and county pr~clncts Nos.
<br />12, 13, 14 and 15, and the polling place thereof was at Mrs. D. C.
<br />McGee's Place, situated at the corner of Fruit and minter Streets;
<br />consolidated voting precinct~No. 3, comprising state and county
<br />precincts Nos. l, 2, 3 and 4, and the polling place thereof was at
<br />the Willard Junior High School, situated on North Main Street;
<br />consolidated voting precinct No. 4, comprising state and county
<br />precincts Nos. 16, 17, 21 and 24, and the polling place thereof
<br />was at the City Hall, situated at Third and Main Streets; consol-
<br />idated voting precinct No. 5, comprising state and county precincts
<br />Nos. 18, 19, 20 and 23, and the polling place thereof was at the
<br />
