RESOLUTION <br /> <br />ORDER I~G I~i PROVEMENT <br />NO. 1757 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of T~ustees of the City of Santa Ana, <br />on the 4th day of April, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intention <br />No. 1V46 to order the hereinafter described improvement to be <br />made and public work to be done in the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1V4~ the Street Superintendent of the <br />City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the con- <br />templsted work and improvement, at not more than three hundred <br />(300) feet in distance apart, and 5 in all, notices of the passage <br />of said Resolution of intention, headed NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in <br />manner, form and substance as provided by law, and said Street <br />Superintendent also caused a notice similar in substance to be <br />published for a period of ten (10) days in the Santa Ana Daily <br />Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in <br />the City of Santa Ana, and named by the Board of Trustees in said <br />Resolution of Intention as the paper in which said notice should <br />appear, all as appears from the affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, <br />principal clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily <br />newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office of the <br />Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, on the 7th day of April, 1927, <br />and is now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Aha commenced to pa t the notices hereinbefore referred to <br />on the 14th day of April, 1927, and fully completed the posting <br />thereof on the 14th day of April, 1927, more than ten days before <br />the day set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work <br />or improvement, all as ap pears by the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, <br />Street Superintendem~ of the said City of Santa Ana, filed in the <br />office of the Clerk of said city on the 16th day of April, 1927, <br />and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 2nd day of May, 1927, at the hour of 7:30 <br />o'clock P. M., and the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Aha, was the day, hour and place named in the <br />Resolution of Intention and Notice of Public Work, when and where <br />any and all persons having any objections to the proposed public <br />work or improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees and <br />show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out <br />in accordance with said Resolution of Intention; and whereas, no <br />pretests or objections were presented or are on file why said <br />proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with <br />sai~ Resolution of Intention, and the Board of Trustees of the City <br />of Ssnta Ans having now acquired Jurisdiction to order the pro- <br />posed improvement, it is hereby; <br /> <br /> <br />
