RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> <br /> NO. 1868 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 8lty Council of the City of Santa Ana, on <br /> the 19th day of December, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intentt~ <br /> No. 1858, to order the hereinafter desc~,ibed work to be done and <br /> improvement to be made in, on and along that open public street <br /> in said City, commonly known as Franklin Street, from the North <br /> line of Myrtle Street to the South line of First Street, which <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 1858 was duly and legally published <br /> twice in the Santa Aha Daily EveninE Register, a daily newspaper <br /> published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as required <br /> by law, as appears from the affidavit of Mildred L. Snyder, <br /> principal clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily news- <br /> paper, and which affidavit was filed in the Office of the Clerk <br /> of the City of Santa Aha, on the 23rd day of December, 1927; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, afte~ the passage and adoption of said Resolutio <br /> of Intention No. 1858, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br /> Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated <br /> work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in <br /> distance apart, and 16 in all, notices of the passage of said <br /> Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPRI~VENENT, in the <br /> manner, form and substance as required by law, and the work being <br /> chargeable upon a district, also conspicuo~sly posted copies of <br /> notice along all of the open streets within such district at not <br /> more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears <br /> from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendsa$, <br /> who personally posted said nofices of improvement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa <br /> Aha, cormmenced to post said notices on the 29th day of December, <br /> 192V, and fully completedthe posting thereof on the 29th day of <br /> <br />· December, 1927, mn~e than ten (10) days before the date set for <br /> hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement <br /> all as an~ears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street <br /> Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the office of <br /> the Clerk of said City on the 30th day of Dec. 1927, and now on <br /> file therein; and <br /> <br /> V~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana was <br /> duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the <br /> hour ~f 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 9th day of January, 1928, <br /> bein~ the time, hour and place named in the Resolution ~ Intention <br /> and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons havin <br /> any ob.~ection to the proposed work or improvement ma~ appear <br /> before the Gity Council and show cause why said proposed work ~oul <br /> not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution ~ Intention <br /> No. 1858; a~ <br /> <br /> <br />
