RESOLUTION ORDERI~NG WORK

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on
<br />the 27th day of December, 1927, passed its Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 1862, to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br />improvement to be made in, on and along that open public street in
<br />said City, cormmonly known as Tov~er Street, from the center line of
<br />Eighth Street to the center line of Tenth Street, which Hesolution
<br />of Intention No. 1862 was duly and legally published twice in the
<br />Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and
<br />circulated in the City of Santa Ana, all as required by law, as
<br />appears from the affidavit of Mildred L. Snyder, principal clerk
<br />of the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which
<br />affidavit was filed in the Office of the Clerk of the City of Santa
<br />Aha, on the 30th day of December, 1927; and
<br />
<br /> ~tEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resoluti~
<br />of Intention No. 1862, the Street Superintendent of the City of
<br />Santa Ana, conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated
<br />work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in
<br />distance apart, and 9 in all, notices of the pass~ge of said
<br />Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the
<br />manner, form and substance as required by law, and the work being
<br />chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of
<br />said notice along all of the open streets within such district at
<br />not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as
<br />appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintend
<br />ent, who personally posted saidnotices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa
<br />Aha, commenced to post said notices on the 5th day of Janusry, 1928
<br />and fully completed the posting thereof on the §th day of January,
<br />1928, more than ten (10) days befor~ the date set for hearing
<br />protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all
<br />as appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent
<br />of the City of Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of said
<br />City on the 5th day of January, 1928, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha was
<br />duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at
<br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 16th day of January,
<br />1928, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of
<br />Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all
<br />persons having any objection to the proposed work or improvement
<br />may appear before the City Council and show cause why said pro-
<br />posed work should not be carried out in accordance with said
<br />Resolution of Intention No. 1562; and

<br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having
