RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK

<br />Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the
<br />passed its Resolution of Intention No.
<br />
<br />1885, to order the hereinafter described work to be done and i~prove
<br />ment to be made, in, on and along those open public streets in said
<br />city known as Halladay Street from a point 510.42 feet South of the
<br />South line of First Street to the South line of First Street; Garfiel
<br />Street from the North line of First Street to the center line of
<br />Sixth Street; Sixth Street from the center line of Garfield Street
<br />to the center line of Poinsettia Street; and Poinsettia Street from
<br />the center llne of Sixth Street to the center line of Fruit Street,
<br />which Resolution of Intention No. 1855 was duly and legally pub-
<br />lished twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a ~aily
<br />newspaper published and circulated in .the City of Santa Ara, all as
<br />required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Mildred L.
<br />
<br />Snyder, principal clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily
<br />newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the Office of the Clerk
<br />of the Uity of Santa Ana, on the 15th day of Decembsr, 19~; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of sai~ Resolution
<br />of Intention No. 1855, the Street Superintendent of the City of
<br />Santa Ana conspieu~usly posted along the line of the contemplated
<br />work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (500) feet in
<br />distance apart, and 1SS in all, notices of the passage of said
<br />Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPHOI~_~ENT, in the manne]
<br />form and substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable
<br />upon a district, also conspicuously posted ~opies of said notice
<br />along all of the open streets Within such district at not more than
<br />three hundred (500) feet in distance apart, as appears from the
<br />affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personall
<br />posted said notices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street SMperintendent of the City of Santa
<br />Ara, comenced to post said notices on the 22nd day of December,
<br />1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 22nd day of
<br />December, 192v, more than ten ¢10) days before the date set for
<br />hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement,
<br />all as appears fr~m the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street Superinten~
<br />ent, of the City of Santa Ara, filed in the Office of the Clerk of
<br />said City on the 2~rd day of December, 192V, and now on file therein:

<br /> W~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ara, was
<br />duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the
<br />hour of 7:50 o'clock P. M. on Monday, the 5rd day of January, 1928,
<br />being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intention
<br />and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having
