2:]5 RESOLUTION OF INTENTIuN NO. 1880 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF AN ORNAMENTAL LIGHTING SYSTF~ ON PORTIONS OF ST. ANDREWS PLACE, ST. GERTRUDE PLACE, VAN NESS AVENUE, ROSS STREET,BIRCH STREET, BROADWAY AND SYCAMORE STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR 0RII NARY PUBLIC BENEFIT, DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXP~SES; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING 0BJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH: The City Council of provisions of the Improvement the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the construction of the following work and improvement in said city, to-wit: The furnishing, installation and construction of an ornamental lighting system on St. Andrews Place from the Westerly line of Main Street to a line parallel to and VO feet distant Westerly from the Westerly line of Woodland Avenue; St. Gertrude Place from the Westerly line of Main Street to the Westerly line of Van Ness Avenue; Van Ness Avenue from the Southerly llne of St. Gertrude Place to the Southerly line of Edinger Street; Ross Street from the South~'~rl2 line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly line of Tract No. 289; Birch Street from the Southerly llne of at. Gertrude Place to the N~therly line of Tract No. 289; Broadway from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly line c~ Tract No. 289; Sycamore Street from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly llne of Tract No. 289, together with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system, including the installation of single ornamental light standards of the type and kind known as Marbelite Lighting Standards, design No. lllO-S complete, including concrete foundations, anchor bolts, potheads wiring, lamps, globes, canopies, conduits, cables and other necessary items to complete the lighting system, including the making of necessary connections between standards and to the service point from which the syytem is to be fed, and the rep iring of all curbs, sidewalks, culverts, pavement or other improvements cut or damaged during the construction, and after removing the two existing stsndar~ on St. Andrews Place at Main Street, indicated on the plans, to be removed, the Contractor shall re-connect the existing circuit across St. Andrews Place at Main Street so that the two lights N~th, and the two lights South of St. ;~drews Place will continue to burn on the existing circuit, together with such other work and improvement aa shown on the plans and specifications which shsll be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvement.
