the expense of said work and improvement is made chargeable upoh the district hereinafter mentioned, and said City Council does hereby declare said district to be the district benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof which district is ~amded and described as follows, to-wit: Located in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, and particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly extension of the Northerly line of Tract No. 259 according to Miscellaneous Map Book 14, Page 8, Records of Orange County, with the Easterly Boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; thence South- erly along said easterly Boundary line of said City to an intersection with the Easterly extension of a line drawn parallel to and distant 125 feet Southerly from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place; thence Westerly along the said Easterly extension and along said line drawn parallel to and distant 125 feet Southerly from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and distant 125 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of South Van Ness Avenue; thence Northerly along the said line drawn parallel to and distant 125 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of South Van Ness Avenue to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and distant §0 feet Southerly from the Southerly line of St. Andrews Place; thence Westerly along the last described line to a point distant 70 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Woodland Avenue; thence Northerly along a line drawn parallel to and distant 70 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Woodland Avenue to a point distant 50 feet Northerly from the Northerly line of Bt. Andrews B~ace; thence Easterly along a line drawn parallel to and distant 50 feet Northerly from the Northerly line of St. Andrews Place to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and distant 125 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of South Van Ness Avenue; thence Northerly along the last described line and its Northerly extension to an inter- section with the surveyed center line of Edinger Street; thence Easterly along said surveyed center line of Edinger Street to an intersection with the Nc~therly extension of a line drawn parallel to and distant 125 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of South Van Ness Avenue; thence Southerly along said Northerly extension and along said line drawn parallel to and distant 125 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of South Van Ness Avenue to an intersection with the Northerly lihe of the hereinbefore mentioned Tract No. 289; thence Easterly along said Northerly line of Tract No. 289 and the Easterly extension of said l~ne to the point of beginning. TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING Section 6. Notice is hereby given: That on t~e 2~th day of February, 1928, at ~:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City of Santa Aha, any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement may appear before the said City Council and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution. That all persons desiring to so appear should file with the City Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, before the hour herein set, a written protest against the said work or the Assessment District proposed to be assessed, or both. ~UBLICAT! ON OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION Section 7. The Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper pug ished and circulated and of general circulation in the City of Santa Ana, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall be pu~mlished and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published by two insertions in said newspaper, in the manner and form required by law.
