RESOLUTION NO. 188Z RESOLUTION FOR LEASE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. WHEREAS, it satisfactorily appearing to the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that it would be for the benefit and best interest of the City of Santa Aha to lease the real property here- inafter described;-and WHEREAS, it further satisfactorily appearing to said City Council that adequate ~nd sufficient consideration has been offered to the City of Santa Aha for a lease of said described real property by F. C. Planchon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That it would be for the benefit and best interest of the City of Santa Aha that the follow- ing described real property belonging to said City of Santa Ana, and situated in the County of Orange, State of California, lying ~mmediately East of the Santa Ana River, and described as follows, to-wit: The Northeast Quarter (NE~) of the Northwest Quarter (NW~) of Section Twenty-two (22), and the Southeast Quarter (SE~) of the Southwest Quarter (SW~), and the West one-half (¥;~) of the Southeast Quarter (SE~) of Section Fifteen (15), all in Township Five (5) South, Range Ten (10) West, S. B.B.&.M., containing approximately eighty-three (83) acres, more or less. Excepting that portion used by the City of Santa Aha for garbage disposal and hog farm, be leased to F. C. Planchon of Orange County, California, for a term of five (5) years, commencing February 15, 1928, for the con- sideration of one-fourth of the gross receipts from crops grown upon said premises, or a cash rental of $1,800.00 per year at the option of the Lessee for any year of said term, said option to be exercised at the beginning of each year and in the event the Lessee shall elect to pay a cash rental therefor the same to be paid in advance at the beginning of such year. That the Mayor of the City of Santa Aha, and the City Clerk of said City respectively shall execute a lease on behalf of the City of Santa Aha with the said F. C. Planchon in accordance with the terms hereinbefore mentioned, and such additional clauses as are generally contained in farm leases. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day of February, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.G.Knox, Stanley E.
