RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> NO. 1894 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the <br />6th day of February, 1928, passed its Resolution of Intention No. <br />1880 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improve- <br />ment to be made in, on and along St. Andrews Place, from the Westerl <br />llne of Main Street to a line parallel to and 70 feet distant <br />Westerly from the Westerly line of Woodland Avenue; St. Gertrude <br />Place from the Westerly line of Main Street to the Westerly line of <br />Van Ness Avenue; Van Ness Avenue from the Southerly line of St. <br />Gertrude Place to the Southerly line of Edinger Street; Ross Street <br />from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly <br />line of Tract No. 289; Birch Street from the Southerly line of <br />St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly line of Tract No. 289; <br />Broadway from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the <br />Northerly line of Tract No. 289; Sycamore Street from the Southerly <br />line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly line of Tract No. 289, <br />which Resolution of Intention No. 1880 was duly and legally pub- <br />lished twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily news- <br />paper publiehed and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, all aa <br />required by law, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, <br />principal clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily news- <br />paper, and which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of <br />the City of Santa Ana, on the 10th day of FebEAary, 1928; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution <br />of Intention No. 1880 the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa <br />Aha conspicuously posted along the llne of the contemplated work and <br />improvement, at not more than ~hree hundred (300) feet in distance <br />apart, and 76 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of <br />Intention, he~ed, NOTICE 0F IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, for~ and <br />substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a <br />district, also conspicuously pmted copies of said notice along all <br />of the open streets within such district at not more than three <br />h~dred (300) feet in dist~ce apart, as apb ars from the affidavit <br />of C.L.Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who personally p~ted sa <br />notices of in~provement; and <br /> <br /> NHEHEAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa An~ <br />commenced to post said notices on the 16th day of February, 1928, <br />and fully completed the pasting thereof on the 16th day of February, <br />1928, more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing <br />protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as <br />appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of <br />the City of Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City <br />on the 17th day of February, 1928, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha was <br /> <br />251 <br /> <br /> <br />
