RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 1899 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, did, in open session, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof on the 12th day of March, 1928, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work, rudder Resolution of Intention No. 1880, in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: The furnishing, installation mnd construction of an ornamental lighting system on St. Andrews Place from the West- erly llne of Main Street to a line parallel to and 70 feet distant Westerly from the Westerly line of Woodland Avenue; St. Gertrude Place from the Westerly line of Main Street to the Westerly line of Van Ness Avenue; Wan Ness Avenue from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Southerly line of Edinger Street; Ross Street from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly line of Tract No. 289; Birch Street from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly line of Tract No. 289; Broadway from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly llne of Tract No. 289; Sycamore Street from the Southerly line of St. Gertrude Place to the Northerly line of Tract No. 289 together with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system, including the installation of single ornamental light standards of the type and kind known aa Marbelite Lighting Standards, design No. lllO-S complete, including concrete foundations, anchor bolts potheads, wiring, lamps, globes, canopies, conduits, cables and other necessary items to complete the lighting system, including the making of necessary connections between standar, and to the service point from which the system is to be fed, and the repairing of all curbs, sidewalks, culverts, pavement or other improvements cut or damaged during the construction, and after removing the two existing standards on St. Andrews Place at Main Street, indicated on the plans, to be removed, the Contractor shall reconnect the existing circuit across St. Andrews Place at Main Street so that the two lights North, and the two lights South of St. Andrews Place will contirme to bur on the existing circuit, together with such other work and improvement as shown on the plans shall be considered as incidental and improvement. and specificstions which to the above described work That for the installation of the hereinbefore system a patented article will be used and a license agreement between the Marbelite Corporation of America, patent owner, an the City of Santa Ana is now on file in the office of the City
