t57 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR 0BJECTIGi S TO <br /> ASSESSMENT, APPROVING ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING THE <br /> STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ATTACH WARR~{T AND RECORD. <br /> <br /> No. 2055 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on the 4th day of June <br />1928, passed Resolution of Intention No. 1958 for the improvement of portions of <br />Broadway and Riverside Drive· and an urmamed street described as the Southerly 5O feet <br />of Lots 40 and 60 of Tract No. 425, as recorded in Miscellaneous Naps, Book 16, Pages <br />$3 and 34, Records of Orange County· California· from the Easterly curb line of Riversi <br />Drive to the ~esterly line of Broadway; and, whereas, on the 6th day of December· 1928 <br />the Superintendent of Streets of said City filed an assessment to cover the sum due <br />for the work performed and specified in the contract made under proceedings for the <br />said improvement, which assessment diagram was approved by the City Council of said Cit <br />on the 4th day of September, 1928. <br /> <br /> AND, ~HEREAS· the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha has given notice as required <br />by law, in which notice January 2nd, 1929 at the hour of V:30 otclock P.~. was fixed as <br />the time· and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City as the place where any <br />and all persons interested in the said work might be heard; and whereas, no person <br />aggrieved has filed with the City Council a written objection to said assessment as <br />required by law; and whereas, at the time set for hearing protests or objections the <br />City Council of said City proceeded to hear the same, and all of said pr~tests or <br />objections to said assessment or the work done having been heard, it is hereby; <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha that all of the said <br />protests or objections against said assessment or the work done under said proceedings <br />be, and the same are hereby overruled and denied and the assessment be affirmed, and <br />that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby directed to attach to said assessmen <br />a warrant in the form and manner required by law, and shall record the same in the <br />office of said Superintendent of Streets. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly <br />passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana· at an adjourned regular meeting <br />thereof held on the 2nd day of January, 1929, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AY,~S · <br /> <br />NO,~S, TRUSTEES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT· T~JS ~EES. <br /> <br />TRUSTi~£S: W.J.Kelly, <br /> Stanley E. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />J.L.McBride, Homer C.
