<br /> CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IF. PNOV~]I~ENT
<br /> BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1988; DETER-
<br /> MININ~ THE A~0%INT OF UIlPAID ASSESSHENTS; PRESCRIBING THE
<br /> DENOZ[INATION OF SUCN BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIN ISSUANCE
<br /> IN ANNU~L SENIES:

<br /> ~qtEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of the filing of list of unpaid assess-
<br />ments was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the warrant, assessmen'
<br />and diagr.am was recorded on the 8rd day of January, 1~)29, for the work and improvement
<br />made by Stee'le Finley, under that certain contract awarded to him on the 9th day ~
<br />July, 19~8~ upon portions of Broadway and RiversiRe Drive, and upon an unnamed street
<br />described as the Southerly ~0 feet of Lots 40 and ~(. of Tract 4~, as recorded in
<br />~iiscellaneous l.~[aps, Book 16, Pages .5~ and ~4, Records of Orange Cotu~ty, California, as
<br />set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 19,58; and that said warrant, assessment and
<br />diagram were returned to the Street Superintendent of said City, together with a written
<br />statement of all payments received upon the said assessment; and after the full expirati~
<br />of thirty (SO) days after the date of recording of said warr. nt, the said Street
<br />Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Aha, a
<br />complete list of all assessments tu~paid upon the said asses'mments, which list is now on
<br />file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shown, this City
<br />Council determines that the assessments therein mentioned were then %u~paid, the total
<br />aggregate thereof being the sum of Six Thousand Five Hundred Thirti?six and 7~/100
<br />Dollars (t)6,~6.7~), and that no assessments have been paid since the filing of the list
<br />of unpaid assessments by the Street Superintendent, and that there ow remains unpaid
<br />the sum of Six Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-six and 7S/lO0 Dollars (~6,5~6.7~), upon
<br />the assessments shown upon said list.

<br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 1958 of the City
<br />Council of the City of Santa Aha, passed on the 4th day of June, 1928, for a complete
<br />description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed
<br />as above stated for the assessments unpaid; and
<br />
<br /> ~rHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to
<br />appear before the City Council in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at
<br />the hour of 7:ZO o~clock P.M. on ~Monday, the llth day of February, 19S9, and show cause,
<br />why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shovna on
<br />the Street Superintendent~s list; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that
<br />serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six per
<br />cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond
<br />Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine years from the ~nd
<br />day of July, next succeeding ten (lC) months from their date; and ali. interested
<br />persons having appeared before this City Council and having been given a full opportumit
<br />to show cause q~lly bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assess-
<br />ments shown on said list, and all objections presented having been heard and considered.

<br />RESOLVED AND 0RDER~D AS FOLLO\~S: That no cause has been shown why bends should not be
<br />issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments, and does hereby overrule all
<br />objections thereto, and 5o~s hereby direct the issuance of said bonds; and further,
