RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK NO. 20V4 <br /> <br /> WHET~EAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the 18th day of <br />February, 1929, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 20V2~ to order the herein- <br />after described work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and along <br />Sycamore Street between the South line of ;[ashington Avenue and the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street, which Resolution of Intention No. 2072 was duly and legally <br />published twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper pub- <br />lished and circulated in the City of Santa dna, all as required by law, as appears <br />from the affidavit of '..'. Lee I~iillis, principal clerk of the printers and publisher <br />of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk <br />of the City of Santa Aha, on the 21st day of February, 1929; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention <br />No. 2072~ the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted <br />along the line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 15 in all, notices of the passage of <br />said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF INPROVEMENT, in the maimer, form <br />and substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district~ <br />also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the open streets <br />within such district at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, <br />as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken~ said Street Superintendent, who <br />personally posted said notices of i provement; and <br /> <br /> W!iEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, cormmenced t. <br />post said notices on the 28th day of February, 1929, and ful. ly completed the post- <br />ing thereof on the 28th day of February, 1929, more than ten (10) days before the <br />date set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, <br />all as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the <br />City of Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 28th day <br />of February, 19~, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, the City Co~uncil of the City of Santa Aha was duly and regularll <br />in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o~clock P.N. on <br />Monday, the llth day of Narch, 1929, being the time, hour and place named in the <br />Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all <br />persons having any objection to the proposed work or improvement may appear <br />before the City Council and show cause why said proposed work should not be <br />carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 2072; and <br /> <br /> '~W{EREAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed of~ <br />overruled and denied, in time~ maimer and form as required by law, and the City <br />Council of the City of Santa Aha having acquired jurisdiction to order the propose~ <br />work done and improvement made; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREB~ RESOLVED~ by the City Cotmcil of the City of Santa Ana~ <br />that the public interest and convenience requires the work done and improvement <br />made particularly set forth and described in Resolution of Intention No. 2072~ <br />which is dated the 18th day of February~ 1929, on file in the office of the Clerk <br />of said City and hereby referred to and made a part hereof, and the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Aha hereby orders the work to be done and ir~provement to be <br /> <br /> <br />
