<br /> ?~HEREI~S, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the 1Vth day of
<br />December, 1~28, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 2051, to order the hereinafter
<br />described work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and along Pine Street
<br />between the Easterly line of Cedar Street and the ~¥esterly line of Minnie Street and
<br />Cedar Street and the ¥~esterly line of Minnie Street and Cedar Street between the
<br />Easterly extended Southerly line of Pine Stre~t as it exists ~esterly from Cedar Streetj
<br />and the Westerly extended Northerly line of Pine Street as it exists Easterly f~m Ceda~
<br />Street, which Resolution of Intention No. 2051 was duly and legally published twice in
<br />the Santa Ana Daily Evening negisSer, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the
<br />City of Santa Ana, all as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee
<br />
<br />Millis, principal clerk of the printers
<br />
<br />which affidavit was filed in the office
<br />20th day of December, 1928; and
<br />
<br />and publishers of said daily newspaper, and
<br />of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, on the
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention No.
<br />2051~ the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa f~na Conspicuously posted along
<br />the line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (~00)
<br />feet in distance apart, and l?th in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of
<br />
<br />intention, headed, NOTICE O~~ ~P~O ~
<br /> I~ ~ Vm~.~E~T, in the manner, form and substance as required
<br />
<br />by law, and the work being charge~ble upon a district, also cons~picuously posted copies
<br />of said notice along all of the open streets within such district at not more than three
<br />httudred (~00) feet in distance apart, as'appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, said
<br />Str~et Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> ~NEREAS~ the Street Superintendent of the City
<br />post said notices on the 26th day of December, 1928, and
<br />thereof on the 26th day of December, 1928, more than ten
<br />for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work
<br />from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent
<br />in the Office of the Clerk of said City on the 28th day
<br />file therein; and
<br />
<br />of Santa Ana, com~oenced to
<br />fully completed the posting
<br />(10) days before the date set
<br />and improvement, all as appears
<br />of the City of Santa Ana, filed
<br />of December~ 1928~ and now on
<br />
<br /> W~REAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana was duly and regularly in
<br />session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the
<br />7th day of January, 1929, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of
<br />Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any
<br />objection to the proposed work or improvement may appear before the City Council and sho
<br />cause why said proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolutio
<br />of Intention No. 2051; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed of, over-
<br />ruled and denied, in time, manner and form as required by law, and the City Council of
<br />the City of Santa f~a having acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and
<br />improvement made;
<br />
<br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOL~£ED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha that the
<br />public interest and convenience requires the work done and improvement made particularly
<br />set forth and described in Resolution of Intention No. 2051, whi&~ is dated the 17th
<br />day of December, 1928, on file in the office of the Clerk of said City and hereby
<br />
