RESOLUTION 0RD~RING WORK

<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the 2nd day of
<br />June, 1930, passed its Resolution of Intention Ncc 2201, to order the hereinafter
<br />described work to be done and improvement tQ be .made in, on and along portions of
<br />Shelton Street, First Street, Walnut Street and Pine Street, which Resolution of
<br />Intention No. 2201 was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Aha Daily
<br />.Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa
<br />Aha, all as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis,
<br />principal clerk of the printers and publishers of said.daily newspaper, and which
<br />affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, on the
<br />5th day of June, 1930; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 2201, the Street Superintendent of the ~ity of Santa Ana conspicuously posted
<br />along the line of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three
<br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 53 in all, notices of the passage of
<br />said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form
<br />and substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district,
<br />also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the open streets
<br />within such district at not more than three hundred (~00) feet in distance apart,
<br />as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who
<br />p~rsonally posted said notices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> WN~REAS, the Street Superintendent cf the City of Santa Aha, commenced
<br />to post said notices on the 9th day of June, 1930, and fully completed the posti~
<br />thereof on the 9th day of June, 19~0, more than ten (10) days before the date set
<br />for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as
<br />appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of
<br />Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 10th day of June,
<br />19~0, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha was duly and
<br />regularly iD session at the Council Chamber thereof, at the hou~ of ?:30 otclock
<br />P.M. on Monday, the 23rd day of June, 1930, being the time, hour and place named
<br />in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and
<br />all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement may appear
<br />before the City Council and show cause why said proposed work should not be
<br />carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 2201; and
<br />
<br /> W~RREAS, all protests or' objections' presented having been disposed of,
<br />overruled and denied, in time, m~uner and form as requiredby law, and the City
<br />Council of the City of Santa Aha having acquired Jurisdiction to order the pro-
<br />posed work done and improvement made;
<br />
<br /> IT IS HERE~Y RESOLYED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
<br />that the public interest and convenience requires the work done and improvement
<br />made particularly set forth and described in Resolution of Intention No. 2201,
<br />which is dated the 2nd day of June, 1930, on file in the office of the Clerk of
<br />said City and hereby referred to and made a part hereof, and the City Council of
<br />
