RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> No. 18o <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha on the 17th day of February <br /> 1930, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 218g to order the hereinafter described <br /> improvement to be made and public.work to be done in the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of Resolution of Intention No. 2189 <br /> the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line <br /> of the contemplated work and improvement at not more Shan three hundred (300) feet in <br /> distance apart and 4 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, <br /> headed, NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in the manner, form and substance as required by law, and <br /> said Street Superintendent also caused a notice similar in substance to be published for <br /> a period of ten (10) days in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper <br /> published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and named by said City Council in <br /> said Resolution of Intention as the paper in which said notice should appear, all as <br /> appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal Clerk of the printers and <br /> Publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the Office of the <br /> Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the 5rd day of March, 1~50, and is now on file therein <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha commenced the post. <br />lng of the notices hereinbefore referred to on the lgth day of February, 19~0, and fully <br />completed the po~ting thereof on the lgth day of February, lg~0, as appears from the <br />affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, Street S~per~ntendent of the City of Santa Aha, and more <br />than ten (10) days having ®~pired after the expiration of the time of the publication of <br />said notice within which protests or objections to the proposed work or improvement might <br />be made by any person interested objecting to said work or improvement, or to the extent <br />of the district or lends to be affected or benefited by said work or improvement and to <br />be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at a regular meetlng of the City Council after the expiration of said <br />ten days after the expiration of the time of the publication of said notice, and no <br />objections to said work or improvement having been made or on file, why said proposed <br />improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention, <br />the City Council of the City of Santa ~ having new acquired ~risdiction to order the <br />proposed improvement; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED: That the public interest and convenience <br />requires the work hereinafter described and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby orders the following work to be done and improvmment made in the City of Santa <br />Aha as follows: <br /> <br /> That the following alley in said City of Santa Aha be closed up and abandoned, <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> All that certain alley through Block B, of Frenchts Addition to oanta <br />aw~, as per map thereof on file in Book 23, Page 41, Miscellaneous ReCords <br />of Los ~ngeles County, California, and more particularly described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of Lot 1, Block B. of said French's <br />Addition; thence Westerly along the Southerly lines of Lots i to ? inclusive <br />of said Block B to the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 7; thence Southerly <br />in a straight line to the Northwesterly corner of Lot $ of said Block B; <br />thence ~asterly along the Northerly lines of Lots 8 to l~ inclusive of said <br />Block B to the Northeasterly corner of said Lot l~; thence Northerly in a <br />straight line to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> <br />
