RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK NO. 2181

<br /> ~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the 17th day of March,
<br /> 1930, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 2177, to order the hereinafter described
<br /> work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and along portions of Fairlawn Street
<br /> and Eighth Street, which Resolution of Intention No. 2177 was duly and legally published
<br /> twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated
<br /> in the City of Santa Aha, all as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee
<br /> Millis, principal clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which
<br /> affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, on the 20th day
<br /> of March, 1930; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention No.
<br /> 2177, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the
<br /> line of the contemplated work and fmprovement, at not more than three hundred (JO0~ feet
<br /> in distance apart,-and 12 in all, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention,
<br /> headed, NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and substance as required by law, and
<br /> the work being chargeable upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said
<br /> notice along all of the open streets within such district at not more than three hundred
<br /> (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the affidavit of C.L.Jenken, said Street
<br /> Super&ntendent, who personally posted said notices of improvement; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, commenced to post
<br /> said notices on the 25~h day of March, 1930, and fully completed the posting thereof on
<br /> the 28th day of March, 1930, more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing pro-
<br /> tests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from the affida~
<br /> of' C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha, filed in the Office of
<br /> the Clerk of said City on the 2$th day of March, 19~0, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> wx,:~A~ the City Council of the City of Santa Ana was duly and regularly in
<br />session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the
<br />7th day of April, 1930, being the time, hou~ and place named in the Resolution of Intent-
<br />ion and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persons having any objections t~
<br />the proposed work or improvement may appear before the City Council and show cause why
<br />said proposed work Should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intent.

<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed of, over~ule¢
<br />and denied, in time, m~uner and fo~mas required by law, and the City Council of the City
<br />of Santa Aha having acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and improvement
<br />made;
<br />
<br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha that the
<br />public interest and conve ience requires the work done and improvement made particularly
<br />set forth and described in Resolution of Intention No. 21~7~ which is dated the 17th day
<br />of March, l~0, on file in the office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred to
<br />and made a part hereof, and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby orders the
<br />work to be done and improvement to be made in said City, as particularly set forth and
<br />described in the said Resolution of Intention No. 2177 as aforesaid.

<br /> That the expense of said work and improvement is by said Resolution of Intentioz
<br />made chargeable upon a district which said district is described in and by the said
<br />Resolution of Intention and is shown by a plat or map thereof on file in the office of the
<br />
