<br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION N0.2184.
<br />
<br />The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of the
<br />
<br />Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925, as. amended, do resolve as follows:
<br />
<br />Section 1. T~at the public interest and necessity require, ~and it is the
<br />
<br />intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the follow-
<br />
<br />ing acquisitions for the widening of West Seventeenth Street in the City of Santa Ara,
<br />
<br />to-wit:
<br />
<br /> A strip of land fourteen (14) feet wide lying North of and immediately
<br />adjacent to the North line of Seventeenth Street and extending from the
<br />Westerly line of Main Street to the Easterly line of Greenleaf Street, except-
<br />lng from said fourteen (14) foot strip of land any and all portions thereof
<br />used for street and alley purposes.
<br />
<br /> A strip cf land fifteen (15) feet wide lying South of and immediately
<br />adjacent to the Southerly line of Seventeenth Street and extending from the
<br />Westerly line of Main Street to the Easterly line of Flower Street, except-
<br />lng from said fifteen (18) foot strip of land anyand-all portions thereof
<br />used for street and alley purpose~.

<br />That the property necessary to be taken for the acquisition and widening of
<br />
<br />that portion of West Seventeenth Street described above includes all those parcels of
<br />
<br />land situated in the City of Santa Ara, County of Orange, State of California, and part-
<br />
<br />icularly described as follows, to-wit:

<br /> Parcel No. 1. A parcel of land in the City of Santa Ana, California,
<br />bounded and ~escrlbed as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the
<br />Westerly line of Main Street with the Northerly line of Seventeenth Street;
<br />thence Westerly along the said Northerly line of Seventeenth Street 153.50
<br />feet to a point; thence Northerly parallel to the Westerly line of Main
<br />Street 14 feet to a point; thence Easterly parallel to the Northerly line of
<br />Seventeenth Street 153.50 feet to a point in the Westerly line of Main
<br />Street; thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said Main Street 14 feet
<br />to the point of beginning.
