That the public interest and convenience requires a nd it is the <br /> intention of the City Council of the City of Sm~ta Ana, California, to order the con- <br /> struction of the following work and improvements in said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That the pdrtions of streets in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall <br /> be done and improvements shall be made as hereinafter set forth are upon and along those <br /> open public streets commonly l~o~'m as and called Shelton Street between the center line <br /> of First Street and the center line of Fairview Avenue; First Street between a line <br /> drawn parallel to and distant five (5) feet West of the Westerly line of Shelton Street <br /> and a line drav~ parallel to and distant ten (10) feet East of the Easterly line of <br /> Shelton Street; Walnut Street between the Easterly line of Shelton Street and a line <br /> drawn parallel to and distant ten (10) feet East of the Easterly line of Shelton Street; <br /> Pine Street between the i~asterly line of Shelton Street as it exists North of Pine Street <br /> and a line drawn parallel to and distant ten (10) feet East of the said Easterly line of <br /> Shelton Street. <br /> <br /> That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the herein- <br />before desdribed portions of said streets in accordance with the plans and specification~ <br />therefor as hereinafter mentioned shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> That Shelton Street between First Street and Pine Street shall be graded and <br />paved with Asphaltic Concrete Pavement from the westerly curb line to the easterly prope~ <br />line of said Shelton Street; that Shelton Street between Pine Street ~d Myrtle Street <br />shall be graded and paved with asphaltic concrete pavement from crumb line to curb line <br />and where cross streets or alleys intersect the grading and paving shall extend back of <br />the curb line to the extended property lines of said street, and at driveway locations <br />the grading and paving shall extend back of the curb line to the street side of the side- <br />walk; that Shelton Street between ~yrtle Street and Highland Street shall be graded and <br />paved with asphaltic concrete pavement from the Easterly curb line to a line <br />parallel to and distant ten (10) feet west of the center line of said Shelton Street, and <br />where cross streets intersect the grading and paving shall extend back of the curb line <br />to the extended property lines of said street, and at driveway locations the grading and <br />paving shall extend back of the curb line to the street:side of the sidewalk; that Shelto: <br /> <br />~y <br /> <br /> <br />
