<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITM OF SANTA
<br /> ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING T~ THE ISSUANCE OF STREET
<br /> IMPROVEMENT BONDS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENT-
<br /> ION NO. 2111; DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESS-
<br /> MENTS~ PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS;
<br /> PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE IN ANNUAL SERIES:
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing list of ~npatd assessments was
<br /> duly given in the manner and form required by law, that the warrant, assessment and
<br /> diagram was recorded on the 10th day of December, 1929, for the work and improvement
<br /> made by Pacific Engineering & Construction Co. under that certain contract awarded to it
<br /> on the 19th day of August, 1929, upon portions of Bishop Street, Wakeham Avenue, Wisteris
<br /> Place, Beverly Place, Harwood Place, Oak Street, Kilson Drive ~nd Hickory Street, as set
<br /> forth in Resolution of Intention No; 2111; and that said warrant, assessment and diagram
<br /> were returned to the Stree~ Superintendent of said City, together with a written state-
<br /> merit of all payments receiMed upon the said assessment; and after the full expiration of
<br /> thirty (30) days after the~ recording of said warrant, the said Street Superintendent
<br /> made and filed with the City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all
<br /> assessments unpaid upon the said Assessment, which list is now on file in the Office
<br /> the City Clerk of said Cit~; now upon evidence shown, this City Council determines that
<br /> the assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the
<br /> sum of Fifteen Thousand, Six Hundred Sixty-five and 68/100 Dollars (t!15,663.68), and that
<br /> there has been paid since %he filing of the list of unpaid assessments by the Street
<br /> Superintendent the following assessments, to-wit:

<br /> Assessment No. 151 for $54.45; Assessment No. 192 for $54.45; Assessment No. 202 for
<br /> $54.45; Assessment No. 212 for $54.45; Assessment No. 244 for $54.45; and Assessment No.
<br /> 297 for ~54.46, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of Fifteen Thousand, Three
<br /> Hundred Thirty-eight and 97/100 Dollars ($15,~8.97), upon the assessments sho~za upon
<br /> said list.

<br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 2111 of bh~ City
<br /> Council of the City of Santa Ana, passed on the 15th day of July, 1929, for a complete
<br /> description of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as
<br /> above stated for the assessments unpaid; and
<br />
<br /> ~EREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner required by law to
<br /> appear before the City Council in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City at
<br /> the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 27th day of January, 1929, and show cause
<br /> why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on the
<br /> Street Superintendent,s list; and
<br />
<br /> ~,~REAS, notice Was duly given in the manner and form required by law, that
<br />serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments bearing interest at the rate of six percent
<br />per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of
<br />1955", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine years from the 2nd day of
<br />July, next succeeding ten (10) months from their date, and all interested persons having
<br />appeared before this City Council and having been given a full opportunity to show cause
<br />why bonds should not be issued upon the 'security of the unpaid assessments shown on said
<br />list, and all objections presented having been heard and considered.

<br /> IT IS THEREFORE NOW BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~ANTA ANA, DETERMINED,
<br />RESOLVED AND ORDER~ AS FOLLOi~S:
