RESC~VED: That the said City Council' hereby rejects all bf said proposals or
<br /> bids except the next herein mentioned, and hereby awards th~ contract for doing said worh
<br /> and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
<br /> at the prices named in their bid as follows, to-wit:

<br /> Item No. 1. The trenching, furnishing and laying of twelve (12) inch diameter
<br /> concrete main sewer, together with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and
<br /> material for the sum of One Dolla~ ten cents ($1.10) pe~ linear foot.
<br />
<br /> Item No. 2. The trenching, furnishing and laying of ten (10) inch diameter
<br /> concrete main sewer, ~ogether with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and
<br /> material for the sum of Ninety-five cents ($0.95) per linear foot.
<br />
<br /> Item No. 3. The trenching, furnishing and laying of eight (8) inch diameter
<br /> concrete main sewer, together with the ~m~nishing of all necessary equipment, labor and
<br /> material for the sum of Eighty cents ($0.80) per lineq~ foot.
<br />
<br /> Item No. 4. The trenching, furnishing and laying of six (8) inch diameter
<br /> concrete main sewer, together with the furnishing of all neeessax-y equipment, labor and
<br /> material for the sum of Seventy cents ($O.VO) per linear foot.
<br />
<br /> Item No. 5. The excavation for and the construction of concrete sewer manhole~
<br /> together with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor amd material for the sum
<br /> of Sixty dollars ($60.00) each.
<br />
<br /> Item No. 6. The excavation ~or and the construction of concrete sewer flush
<br /> tanks, together with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for
<br /> the sum of One Hundred Twenty dollars ($120.00) each.
<br />
<br /> Item No. 7, The excavation for and the construction of concrete sewer lamp
<br /> holes, together with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for
<br /> the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) each.
<br />
<br /> Item.No. 8. The trenching, furnishing and laying of fou~ (4) inch diameter
<br /> cast iron pipe sewer main, together with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, laboz
<br /> and material for the sum of Seventy cents ($0.70) per linear foot.
<br />
<br /> Item No. 9. The excavation for and the construction of a reinforced concrete
<br />pump pit, the furnishing amd installing of two, three (3) inch vertical sewage pumps
<br />equtpped with 3 horse power vertical type electric motors, together with the furnishing
<br />amd installing of all electric switches, lamps, wiring, fittings~ and other appurtenances
<br />and the furnishing and construction of a frame pump house with composition roof together
<br />with all doors, windows, vents and other necessary appurtenances, all complete with the
<br />furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of Three Thousand~
<br />Five Hundred Dollars ($~,500.00) complete.

<br /> Item No.lO. The trenching, furnishing and laying of eight (8) inch cast iron
<br />pipe water main, together with the furnishing of all necessary gate valves, plugs, fitt-
<br />ings, concrete valve boxes, with cast iron frames and covers, complete with the furn-
<br />ishing of all necessary equipment, labor amd material for the sum of One Dollar, Fort-y-
<br />five cents ($1.45) per linear foot.

<br /> Item No.ll. The trenching, furnishing and laying of six (6) inch cast iron
<br />pipe water main together with the furnishing of all necessary gate valves, plugs,
<br />fittings, concrete valve boxes, with cast iron frames and covers, complete with the
<br />furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of One Dollar Ten
