RESOLUTION NO. ~.~8 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHEPE CITY IS PAYING <br /> NO CASH CONSIDER~'TI'0~ AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM <br /> DEED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT E. and ~ARJOBIE A. MASON have presented to the <br /> City a deed dated July 15, 19~9, granting an easement for street pttr- <br /> poses, along the North side of Washington Avenue, just East of Ross <br /> Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, V~LA ~I~fIER~ .D~0~.~ INC. has presented to the <br /> <br /> City a deed dated June l, 1959, granting an easement for sewer right/~ <br /> of way from T~act No. 2743 to Newhope Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, T.~...~ and ZELLA JANE c~SGRO.¥~, have presented to the <br /> City a deed dated July 9, 1959, granting an easement for street pu~-/g~ <br /> poses for the widening of North Main Street on the East side betwe'en <br /> Santa Clara and Buffalo; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the I,EHNHARDT CO~0R~Q~ has presented to the City a <br /> deed dated July 6, 1~59, granting a water and sewer easement to Tract/~,~ <br /> No. 2868, and a deed dated July 6, 1959, conveying a parcel of laud <br /> 60 x 100 feet in Tract No. 2868, whO. ch is the location of a well site; <br /> <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, in none of the above-mentioned cases is the City pay- <br /> <br /> ing any cash consideration for such land; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, existing right of way along the South side of Fairview <br /> Avenue, East of Golden West Avenue, was obtained and is unnecessary <br /> for City purposes, and it is now desired to reconvey the same to the <br /> lot owner from Welch the same was acquired; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said deeds <br /> and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is hereby directed <br /> to place his Certificate of Approval upon the same. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESODfED: That the ~ayor and the Clerk of the <br /> Council a~e hereby a~thori~ed to execute a Quitclaim Deed conveying <br /> <br />(t~ E~i~that certain property in the City of Santa Ana <br /> described as: ~/~/~ $~ <br /> The northerly 5.00 feet of Lot l, Block B, Tract No. 604, as <br /> shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 24, page 19, Miscel- <br /> laneous ~aps, records of 0~auge County, California. <br /> EXCEPT the easterly one-half of said Lot 1. <br /> <br /> <br />
