RESOLUTION NO. 59-190 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA, CALIF~NIA <br />DECLAEING SOUTHERN CALIFOR~4IA THE LOGICAL SITE FOR THE WORLD's FAIR <br />~O BE ~.D IN 1963 <br /> <br /> ~tEREAS, the Senate smd the Assembly of the State of California have adopted Joint Resolution No. 22 relating <br />to a World's Fair to De held in 1963; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: That Said City Council here~- <br /> <br />p~+.itions and memorializes the President of the United States and the Congress of She United States to designate <br /> <br />Southern California, more particularly the County of Orange or of Los Angeles, or vicinity, as the site of a World's <br /> <br />Fair to be held. in the year 1963. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is directed to transmit copies of this Resolution to <br /> <br />Senators Kuchel and Engle, and to Orange County Representatives in the Congress of the United States of America. <br /> <br />FASSED A~D AEOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 20th d~ of <br /> <br />July, 1959. <br /> <br />ATTEST: A.A.
