IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND II'~PROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. 9, OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING ACQUISITION AND Ii,[PROVEMENT <br /> <br /> NO. 2284 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time, place and in the manner set forth in Resolution <br /> of Intention No. 2260, adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha on the <br /> 24th day of November, 1930, In the Matter of Acquisition and Improvement District <br /> No. 9 of the City of Santa Aha, a full, fair and impartial hearing was accorded <br /> to all persons having any objections to those things proposed to be done as set <br /> forth in said !~esolution; and <br /> <br /> V~EREAS, said hearing was regularly continued to the 19th day of January <br /> 1931, at the hour of V:30 o~cteck P.I'.~. at the Council Chamber of the City Council <br /> situated in the City Hall in the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council has adopted its Resolution passing upon <br /> <br /> all protests presented, both written and oral, and has made its determination as <br /> to the extent of the Assessment ]istrict and the grades to which the contemplated <br /> work and improvements are to be constructed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, evidence has been received as to the publication of said <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 2260, and the posting of Notice of Public Improvement <br /> therein ordered posted at the time and in the manner prescribed by law, and as <br /> to the necessity for the improvements contemplated and the benefits to be <br /> derived therefrom; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> Ana that it is hereby found, determined and ordered as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the said Resolution of Intention No. 2260, heretofore adopted <br /> on the 24th day of November, 1930, has been duly and legally published as required <br /> by law, and that the Notice of Public Improvement therein directed to be posted <br /> has been duly and legally posted in the time, form, manner and number as required <br /> by law, and that ail protests or objections presented have been disposed of in <br /> time, form and manner as required by law, and that this Legislative Body has now <br /> acquired jurisdiction to order the things proposed to be done as set forth in <br /> said Resolution of Intention No. 2260. <br /> <br /> 2. That the public interest and necessity require and it is hereby <br />ordered that the work and improvements on East Fourth Street, between Poinsetta <br />Street and Santa Fe Street as said two last named streets exist northerly from <br />Fourth Street and on Santa Fe Street between First Street and Fourth Street, all <br />as particularly set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 2260, <br />and in the specifications, plans, profiles and detailed drawings therein referred <br />to be made and done. <br /> <br /> 3. That the boundaries of the Assessment District and the grades to <br />which said improvements are to be constructed sh$11 be those set forth in said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 2260, and in the specifications therein referred to~ <br />reference to which is hereby made. <br /> <br /> 4. That the City Attorney of the City of Santa Aha is hereby ordered to <br />commence a proceeding before the Railroad Commission of the State of California as <br />required by the laves of the State of California to have fixed the just compensatio~ <br /> <br /> <br />
