<br /> IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 7 OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANAo

<br /> RESOLUTION FIXING TIME FOR HEARING UPON
<br /> ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR AN ACQUISITION.
<br />
<br /> 2~EREAS, in the Matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. V of the
<br /> City of Santa Ana, the Court has heretofore entered its Interlocutory Judgments coverir
<br /> all of the respective parcels of land in the action brought to condemn the lands sought
<br /> to be acquired in said proceedings, said action being entitled: City of Santa Aha, a
<br /> Municipal Corporation of the Fifth Class, Plaintiff, vs. WILLIAM WAGNER, et al
<br /> defendants, (Superior Court, Case No. 27242~, and the City Attorney has filed his
<br /> Report with this City Council on the 2?th day of July, 1931, setting forth the amounts
<br /> necessary for the payment of said Interlocutory Judgments, and all costs and expenses
<br /> chargeable to the plaintiff therein, and the amount of incidental expenses of the
<br /> proceedings; and
<br />
<br /> ~4q~EREAS, the total amount for which it is necessary that bonds of the said
<br /> district be issued and sold in order to complete the acquisitions described in the
<br /> Resolution of Intention adopted by this City Council in the said proceeding on the 21st
<br /> day of April, 1930, is the sum of $36,861.89, and it is the intention of this City
<br /> Council to order that bonds of said district be issued and sold in said amount for said
<br /> purpose:

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, a~
<br /> follows, to-wit:

<br /> That Monday, the 10th day of August, 1931, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M.
<br />is the time, and the Chambers of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, in the City
<br />Hall of the City of Santa Ana, State of California, is the place hereby fixed for a
<br />hearing upon the issuance of bonds in the total amount of $36,861.89, against the lands
<br />in the assessment district in Acquisition and Improvement District No. 7 of the City of
<br />Santa Ana, for the purpose of obtaining the amount required to pay the respective
<br />Interlocutory Judgments in the action brought to condemn the property sought to be taken
<br />all costs and expenses chargeable to the plaintiff in said action, and all incidental
<br />expenses incurred in the proceedings for the above named district, and for the purpose
<br />of furnishing an opportunity to all persons owning lands within the said district, or
<br />otherwise interested, and feeling aggrieved by any act or determination done or made in
<br />the proceedings for said district, or claiming that any of the previous acts or
<br />determinations or proceedings are irregular, defective, erroneous or faulty, or having
<br />any obJactions to offer, or any reason to advance why s,~id bonds should not be issued
<br />and sold in said amount, and for said purpose, to appear before this City Council and
<br />be heard upon any of the above mentioned matters~

<br /> Said bonds proposed to be issued in the amount and for the purpose aforesaid
<br />will be issued under and in pursuance of the provisions of the Acquisition and Improveme~
<br />Act of 192~, and amendments thereto, and shall bear interest at the rate of seven per
<br />cent per annum, payable semi-annually, and the aggregate principal of all bonds issued
<br />and sold in said amount, and for said purpose, to appear before this City Council and
<br />be heard upon any of the above mentioned matters.
