RESOLUTION NO. 2369 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AS STATE HIG~¥AYS CERTAIN <br />TRAVELABLE CITY STREETSIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br />W~EREAS, under and by virtue of Chapter 767 of the Statutes~of 1935, the <br /> <br />Department of Public Works of the State of California is authorized to expend annually <br /> <br />from the State Highway fund an amount equal to one quarter of one o~-~er gallon tax on <br /> <br />motor vehicle fuel, after the proportionate payments therefrom int~ the "Fuel tax enforc~ <br /> <br />ment fund" and after the proportionate refunds shall have been made, within the <br /> <br />incorporated cities and freeholder charter cities, and any city and county in the State <br /> <br />of California, for the purposes specified in said chapter,, and in the manner provided by <br /> <br />law, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of said Chapter 767, and in accord- <br /> <br />ance with the provisions of Sections 363r and 368y of the Political Code (Chapter 326 of <br /> <br />B~atutes.~ of 1933), the Department of Public Works, acting by and through the <br /> <br />California Highway Commission, has designated as State highways the following described <br /> <br />streets in the <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, Orange County <br /> <br />Route 2. Through Santa Aha. <br /> <br />3.1 miles <br /> <br /> Beginning at the north city limits of Santa Ana on Main <br />Street, thence southerly o~er Main Street about 1.8 miles to <br />First Street, thence easterly over First Street about 1.3 <br />miles to the erst city limits of Santa Aha, a total distance <br />of 3.1 miles, more or less, within the corporate limits of <br />Santa Aha; <br /> <br />Route 174 Within Santa Aha. <br /> <br />1.8 miles <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Junction of S~ate Highway Houte 2 and <br />Santa Aha Boulevard at Chapman Avenue, thence southeasterly <br />over Santa Aha Boulevard to the intersection of Santa Ana <br />Boulevard an~ Main Street in the City of Santa Aha, a distance <br />of 1.8 miles, more or less, within the corporate limits of <br />Santa Aha; <br /> <br />Route 179. Within Santa Ana. <br /> <br />1.2 miles <br /> <br /> Beginning at the west city limits of Santa Ana on Ocean <br />Avenue near Flower Street, thence easterly over Ocean Avenue <br />to Flower Street, thence southerly over Flower Street about <br />~.3 mile to Park Boulevard, thence southeasterly over Park <br />Boulevard about 0.75 mile to Santa Clara Street, thence east- <br />erly over Santa Clara Street about 0.1 mile to Main Street <br />(State Highway Route ~), a total distance of 1.2 miles, more <br />or less, within the corporate limits of Santa Ana; <br /> <br />Route lB1. Through Santa Ana. <br /> <br />2.6 miles <br /> <br /> Beginning at the south city limits of Santa Ana on McClay <br />Street, thence northerly over McClay Street about 1.0 mile to <br />East First Street, Junction Route ~. <br /> Beginning again at the intersection of East First Street <br />(State Highway Route ~) and Grand Avenue, thence northerly over <br />Grand Avenue about 1.6 miles to the north city limits or'Santa <br />Aha at Santa Clara Street, a total di~tance of 2.6 miSes, more <br />or less, within the corporate limits of Santa Aha; <br /> <br />Route 183. Within Santa Aha. <br /> <br />~.2 miles <br /> <br /> Beginning at the west city limits of Santa Ana on West <br />First Street, thence e~sterly over West First Street to a Junction <br />with State Highway Rsute 2 (First and Main) in the City of Santa <br />Aha, a distance of 2.2 miles, more or less, within the corporate <br />limits of Santa Ana; <br /> <br />Route 184. Within Santa Ana. <br /> <br />2.8 miles <br /> <br /> Beginning at the south city limits of Santa Ana at Dyer Road <br />on Main Street, thence northerly over Main Street to a junction <br />with State Highway Route 2 (First and Main ) in the City of Santa <br />Ana, a distance of 2.5 miles, more or less, within the corporate <br />limits of Santa Ana; . <br /> <br />which said streets are existing travelable streets in the City of Santa Aha, and <br /> <br /> <br />
