RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPHOVEMENT NO. 2377 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on the 4th day of <br /> December, 1933, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 2373, ordering the hereinafter <br /> described improvement to be made and public work to be done in the City of Santa Aha; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of Resolution of Intention No. 23?3, <br /> the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line <br /> of the contemplated work and improvement at not more than three hundred (300) feet in <br /> distance apart and six (6) in all~ notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intent- <br /> ion, headed, NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in the manner, form and substance as required by <br /> law, and said Street Superintendent also caused a notice similar in substance to be <br /> published for a period of ten (lC) days in the "Santa Ana Daily Evening Register", a <br /> daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Sant~ Ana, and named by said <br /> City CounciI in said Resolution of Intention as the paper in which said Notice should <br /> appear, as appears from the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal Clerk of the printers <br /> and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office <br /> of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha on the 4th day of December, 1933, and i~ now on <br /> file therein; and <br /> <br /> '~HEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha commenced the <br />posting of the Notices hereinbefore referred to on the 8th day of December, 1933, and <br />fully completed the posting thereof on the 8th day of December, 19~8, as appears from <br />the affidavit of J. L. McBride, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, and <br />more than ten(10) days having expired after the expiration of the time of the <br />publication of said notice within which protests or objections to the proposed work or <br />improvement might be made by any person interested objecting to said work or improve- <br />ment, or to the extent of the district or lands to be affected or benefited by said <br />work or improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Council after the expiration of <br />said tea days after the.expiration of the time of the publication of said notice, and <br />no objections to said work or i~provement having been made or on file, why said pro- <br />posed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of <br />Intention, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana having now acquired Jurisdiction <br />to order the proposed improvement: <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the public interest and convenience <br />requires the work hereinafter described and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha <br />hereby orders the following work to be done and improvement made in the City of Santa <br />Ana as follows: <br /> <br /> That the following alley in said City of Santa Ana be closed up and <br /> abandoned, to-wit: <br /> <br /> That portion of an alley fourteen feet (14~) wide in Block "B" <br /> of Bailey's Addition to the Town of Santa Ana in Orange County~ <br /> California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 21, page <br /> 12 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles Cotmty, extending <br /> from Minnie Street, as shown on said map, to the Southerly pro- <br /> longation of the West line of Lot 9 in said Block "B"; <br /> <br />all of which is more clearly shown on a certain map approved and adopted by the City <br /> <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana ~or the said abandonment by Resolution No. 2372 on the <br /> <br />313 <br /> <br /> <br />
