~k 17~ Page <br /> <br />Robert Oo ~ison <br />Grand and Stafford <br />c: applicant, Planning, Bldg. <br /> PuBlic Works <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 59-248 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION <br />N0. 1157 WHERE PI~NNING C0~O/IISSION REC0}~UDED DENIAL <br /> <br /> %WrIEREAS, after hearing the Planning Commission recommended <br />denial on Variance Application No. 1157, and the City Council <br />after hearing has determined that said Variance should be granted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a Variance is granted <br />to apply to the property in the City of Smta Ana, County of <br /> <br />Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Tract No. ~46, Lot 51, as per map recorded in Book 21, <br />Page 35 of Miscellaneous ~aps and Records in the office <br />of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, <br /> <br />located at 12101 East Bolsa, Santa Ana, to allow a new front and <br /> <br />addition to the existing furniture store building, to build the <br /> <br />same up to the new street right of way line and eliminate the <br /> <br />off-street parking in front of said building in a C-2-PK District, <br /> <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />That owner install standard concrete curb and gutter <br />and standard sidewalk across the full frontage of the <br />property on Bolsa Avenue, in place of a depressed curb. <br /> <br />2. That owner dedicate all vehicular access rights from <br /> the property to Bolsa Avenue. <br /> <br />That due to street widening, this property could not use <br /> <br />this front parking area without backing into the street, which <br /> <br />because of heavy traffic would be d~gerous. <br /> <br />That this condition creates an unusual hardship on this <br /> <br />particular property. <br /> <br />PASSED AifD A~0PTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ara at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of September, 1959. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ ~LERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
