RESOLUTION ~,0. 2489 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IFECLAR!NG THROUGH STREETS IN THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SM~TA ANA, as follows: <br /> <br /> That pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California <br /> and pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1030 of the City of Santa Ana, entitled <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana Regulating the use of public highways within said <br /> City", adopted April 6, 1936, the City Council does hereby declare that all of the follo~ <br /> ing named public streets and highways within the said City of Santa Ana between the <br /> limits hereinafter described are hereby declared to be through streets, highways, and <br /> boulevards within the meaning contemplated and intended by the Vehicle Code of the State <br /> of California: <br /> <br /> FLOWER STREET from the Northerly City Limits to Edinger Street, excepting at <br /> its intersection with Santa Ana Boulevard; Seventeenth Street; Fifth Street; First <br /> Street; and Edinger Street. <br /> <br /> BROADWAY from Santa Ana Boulevard to First Street, excepting at its intersect- <br /> ion with Santa Ana Boulevard; Seventeenth Street; Fourth Street; and First Street, <br /> excepting however, that when in operation, automatic traffic signals at Fourth Street <br /> shall govern. <br /> <br /> ~IN STREET from the Northerly City Limits to Dyer Road, excepting at its <br />Northerly intersection with Santa Aha Boulevard; excepting however, when in operation <br />automatic traffic signals at First and Main Streets; Fourth and Main Streets; and <br />Seventeenth and Main Streets shall govern. <br /> <br /> GRAND AVENUE from the Northerly City Limits to First .Street~ excepting at its <br />intersection with First Street; and provided that at the intersection of Seventeenth <br />Street and Grand Avenue, all traffic shall stop before entering such intersection. <br /> <br /> SANTA ANA BOULEVARD from the Northwesterly City Limits to its intersection <br />with Main Street. <br /> <br /> ~EVENTEENTH STREET from the Westerly City Limits to the Easterly City Limits, <br />excepting at its intersection with Main Street; excepting however, when in operation <br />automatic traffic signals at t~he intersection of Seventeenth and Main Streets shall <br />govern; and provided that at the intersection of Seventeenth Street and Grand Avenue, <br />all traffic shall stop before entering such intersection. <br /> <br /> FIFTH STREET from the Westerly City L~its to Broadway, excepting at its <br />intersection with Broadway. <br /> <br /> FIRST STREET from the Westerly City Limits to the Easterly City Limits, <br />excepting at its intersection with Main Street; excepting however, when in operation <br />automatic traffic signals at the intersection of First and Main Streets shall govern. <br /> <br /> McFADDEN STREET from a point 200 feet East of its intersection with Standard <br />Avenue to a point 200 feet West of its intersection with Standard Avenue. <br /> <br /> EDINGER STREET from the Westerly City Limits to Main Street, excepting at its <br />intersection with tdain Street. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meet <br />lng of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, held on the 5th day of October, 1936~ <br />was duly passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> <br />
