RESOLUTION NO. 2511 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONCERNING PARIT[NG LIMITATIONS UNDER <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1030. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWB <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2484 of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana, dated the 5th day of October, 1936, pursuant to the provisions of the <br />Vehicle Code of the State of California, and pursuant to the provisions of <br />Ordinance No. 1030 of the City of Santa Ana, entitled "An Ordinance Regulating th. <br />Use of Public Highways within said City", adopted April 6th, 1936, the City Councl <br />did declare that the following curbs along the public highways in the City of <br />Santa Ana shall be painted Red as provided in Subdivision ~(e) of Section 9 of sai~ <br />Ordinance No. 1030, and the City Engineer was thereby directed to cause said curb <br />to be painted as above described on the following curbs, to-wit: <br /> <br /> MAIN STREET <br /> <br /> On the East side between Sixth and Seventh Streets, located as follows: <br /> The South 32 feet ~of the North 180 feet. <br /> The South 12 feet. <br /> <br /> AND, WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to abandon such no park- <br /> <br />ing zone; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br />ing zone be and the ssane <br /> <br /> be it resolved that a portion of the foregoing no park- <br /> <br /> is hereby eliminated, and the City Engineer is hereby <br /> <br />directed to cause the paint on said curbs to be removed or covered, as follows: <br /> The South 5 feet of the North 180 feet. <br /> The South 6 feet of the North 244 feet. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOE~VED that pursuant to said Ordinance ~o. 1030, the <br />following curbs along the public highways in the City of Santa Aha shall be painte <br />Green, and shall bear a legend in white letters thereon indicating that the <br />maximum time limit for parking shall be twenty (20) minutes as provided in Sub- <br />division (f) of Section 9 of said Ordinance No. 1030, and the City Engineer is <br />hereby directed to cause said curb to be painted as above described on the follow- <br />ing curbs, to-wit: <br /> <br /> MAIN STREET <br /> <br /> On the East side between Sixth and Seventh Streets, located as follows: <br /> The South 34 feet of the North 244 feet. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its <br />regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1937. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Plummet W.
