Pub Wks, <br />ap~lieamt 1 <br />FVW Properties 17th & T.imco~ln <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ after ~ublic hearing on Variance Application No. 1203 <br />the Planning Commission recommended~that said application be denied <br />and the City Council, after consideration, has determined that the <br />same should be granted~ upon conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Variance as applied <br /> <br />for in Application No. 1203 to use certain property in the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of Block 22 of the-Town of Santa Ana East~ as <br /> shown on a map recorded in Book lO~ pages 43 and ~4 of Mis- <br /> cellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California~ described <br /> as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said Block <br /> Twenty-two~ distant South ~ 02' 15" East 2~0.07 feet measured <br /> along said Easterly line from the center line of 17th Street <br /> as shown on a map filed in Book 32~ page 7 of Record of Sur- <br /> veys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, <br /> California; thence South ~ 02' 15" East 200.00 feet along <br /> said Easterly line of the Northeast corner of land described <br /> in a deed to Ellis W. S~anley~ a married many recorded Decem- <br /> ber 8th~ 195~ in Book 3309, page 229 of Official Records; <br /> thence North 89'58' 40" West 300.62 feet parallel with the <br /> center line of said 17th Street to the Easterly line of land <br /> described in a deed to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Rail- <br /> way Company, recorded April 16th, 1~58 in Book 4258, page <br /> of 0ffiCia~ Records; thence North 0 38' ~5" East along said <br /> Easterly l~ne a distance of 199.98 feet; thence South 8~58' <br /> ~O" East 294.76 to the point of beginning~ <br /> <br />be allowed to permit the construction of a warehouse not exceeding <br /> <br />37,500 square feet of gross area to be used for the distribution of <br /> <br />finished consumer goods, on the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. The use of this property and building thereon constructed <br /> <br />shall be limited to warehousing, storage and distribution of merchandise. <br /> <br />2. No wholesale or retail sales~ and no auction sales: shall <br /> <br />be conducted or permitted upon the property, and no customer traffic <br /> <br />shall be permitted to and from this property, <br />shall be conducted upon this property. <br /> <br />and no manufacturing <br /> <br />3. Not less than 25 parking stalls shall be provided for off- <br /> <br />street parking on the property, as shown on the submitted plot plan. <br /> <br />4. No more than 20 employees shall be employed on the property. <br /> <br />5. No commercial vehicles shall be stored, maintained, re- <br /> <br />paired or serviced upon the property. <br /> <br /> <br />
