RESOLUTION NO. 2702. RESOLUTION OF IN?ENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and W~&EREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposas, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and W~EREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said City Council to be held on the and day of October, 1939, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth in~nedlately following the description of said parcels to the persons who have offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event ssld property wilt be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid. The said property is described as follows: That certain real prcperty situate in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly ~esc]ibed as follows~ot Two (2) in Block "A" of Tract No. 289 Lot Two (2) in Block "J" of Tract No. 252 . . Lots Seventeen (1V). and Eighteen (18) of Tract No. 270 . Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Block A of Tract No. 597 . . .
