RESOLUTION NO. 2711 <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOEVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> THAT WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property <br />hereinafter described, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots <br />and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired <br />by the City of Santa Ann, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title <br />thereto and/or from the County Ta~ Collector of the County of Orange, State of Californi <br />under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and <br />provided, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any thereof <br />for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property <br />should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again <br />be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by <br /> <br />private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private <br />ownership; <br /> <br /> NOW', THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare <br />that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said City Council to be held on the <br />16th day of October, 1939, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth <br />immediately following the description of said parcels to the persons who have offered in <br />writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council <br />shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, <br />in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting <br />and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a <br />deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said <br /> <br />bid; the said property is described as follows: <br /> <br /> That certain real property situate in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, <br />State of California, more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 20, Tract No. 832 ........ $450.00 <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its <br /> <br />regular meeting held on <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />E.
