RESOLUTION .N.0.. 2720 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTV BE IT RESOL¥ .~D by the City Council of the City of Santa Aua: THAT, ~FEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain rea~ property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land withLu the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana, by deed and/or purchase frc~ the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of Califormia, under the provisions of the Statutes of the Stato of California~ in such oases made and provided, and ~iEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of tho City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private o~ership tu order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and V~TEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and sm opportunity has a~fsen to s ell the same into priw~te ownership; NOW, THEREFORE~ the City Council of the City of Santa Ama does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said City Council to be held on the 18th day of December, 1939, sell said proporty at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parcels to the persons who have offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10~) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the I,~ayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make~ execute s_nd deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amotmt of said bid.
