27( RESOLUTION N0. 2650 RESO~I~ION OF INT~{TION TO SELL REAL PRO PERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI~E CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the ovauer of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described consists of a certain lot and parcel of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the Connty of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ovmershlp in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of s aid parcel by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare that it intends to and will, at a regular meeting of said City Council to be held on the 15th day of .~ay, 1959, sell said property at the price herein- after set forth immediately following the description of said parcel to the person who have offered in writing to purchase the s~me at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council ahall receive a bid for said parcel at least te~ per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said me~ting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will there- upon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest 'bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid; the said property is described as follows: That certain real property situate in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Lots Five (5) and Six (8) Block H, Tract No. 252) Lot Twenty (20) Tract No. 87§ ....... ) ..... $812.00 Lot Nine (9) B~ock "A", Tract No. 869 .................. 525.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED ,by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of 5{ay, 19Z9.
