ESOLUTION N0. 2655 REo0LU~I0~ OF INTA~TION TO SELL R~AL PROP~TY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COU~ICIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the ovmer of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WI~EREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ovmership in 5rder that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and V~EREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of s aid parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, TH~EFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare that it intends to and wi.ll, at a regular meeting of said City Council to be held on the 5th day of June, 1939, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parcels to the persons who have offered in v~iting to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Player and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid: the said property is described as follows:~ That certain real property situate in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Lots Eight (8) and Nine (9) in Block "B" of Tract No. 687, Sunset Gardens, as shown on a Map recorded in Book ~0, page ~4, of M%scellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, Calif6rnia ........ ~)ZO0.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on ATTLST:~ E.'
